You’ll find the Kongresshaus Liebestrasse in the heart of Winterthur. It’s near Winterthur’s most famous museums, including the Kunstmuseum Winterthur (Winterthur Art Museum) and the Oskar Reinhart Collection, which has paintings and sculptures by Swiss, German, Austrian and other masters, mainly from the 19th century. Only a stone’s throw away is the old town with its 17th century houses and the elegant city park. With its trees, sculptures and brilliant display of cultivated flowers the park is the green lung right in the centre of town. The Barockhäuschen (Baroque Cottage) is evidence of a time when the people of Winterthur used to enjoy the summer resort here.
