Franck Lasry DTM, a joint Toastmasters à Toronto en 2004. Francophone d’origine, l’humour dans ses discours lui permet de passer à travers les frontières culturelles. Franck participe chaque année au concours humoristique du District 60 (Canada) et a fait partie des 9 finalistes du concours de 2015. Il est membre de “Humorously Speaking Toastmasters”, un club dont le but est d’enseigner aux membres comment intégrer l’humour à travers la communication.

As founder of Visibility Branding, Bernadette is a Personal Brand Strategist, career coach, speaker, Online Identity Analyst, and author of “Storytelling about Your Brand Online & Offline”. She works with professionals across the globe using the “art” of storytelling to effectively message their brand. A long-standing Toastmaster, discovering TM during her MBA in the US, she has lived in Paris since 2003. A member of various clubs, she placed at two Humorous Speech contests where she admits to going out of her “comfort zone” and loving it, albeit with a huge dose of “angst”.

Members will benefit from a dynamic, interactive program that is far better suited to our modern lives, and offers more recognition, new technological resources, mobile access, expanded video and digital content as well as stronger evaluation and mentoring components. This workshop will benefit existing and potential Toastmasters members as it offers insights as to how the new educational material has been better designed with our modern needs and modern technology in mind.

About Carina

Carina is a consultant Clinical Pharmacist and Health Economist based in Switzerland. She joined Toastmasters in 2011. Carina was AD, has served as TLI and conference chairs, gained the DTM award and has recently been appointed as the Chief Ambassador for Pathways. Carina’s focus is to help develop new clubs and to provide mentoring to new and existing members.

About Wim

Wim has been a trainer for well over 10 years now, first working for a training company, later self-employed. He’s delivered client-specific courses on many different topics over the years, in Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish. He delivers training and coaching in public speaking. He helps TEDx speakers prepare for their stage time and PhD students for their PhD defense. He has also led the development of a smartphone tool to facilitate speech or presentation creation.

Aufmerksamkeitsmanagement am Rednerpult

Ausgangspunkt dieses interaktiven Referates ist der Lernprozess. Dabei ist der Dreh- und Angelpunkt die Aufmerksamkeit. In unserer digitalisierten und vernetzten Welt ist die Aufmerksamkeit unzähligen Ablenkungen ausgeliefert. Darum muss die Aufmerksamkeit der Zuhörerenden (und die eigene ebenfalls!) gelenkt werden. Wie Ihnen das gelingt, erfahren Sie in diesem Workshop. Dabei bedienen wir uns unter anderem auch Techniken der Magier, die unsere Aufmerksamkeit so gekonnt (ab-)lenken. Mit dem neuen Wissen wird es Ihnen möglich, Zuhörer mit einer Rede buchstäblich zu “verzaubern”.
